Agile Paws is founded and owned by Christin Fritzler (Swetnam). I have been training dogs for 10 years in obedience and dog agility. I have experience with many training methods and have found that positive reinforcement is the best method to solidify the dog's understanding while making training fun for both the dog and owner. I love shaping, trick training, body awareness exercises, and especial

With a new baby due next month, I find it hard to physically train my dogs. Bending down, trying to reward in the right location, sitting down then standing up, running, those are all proving to me more difficult and I get too into training and "forget" I'm 8 months pregnant! This next month we are focusing on exercise and strengthening the bond between my dogs and I - something I have noticed decrease since becoming a mother and something I need to definitely improve. We have a new game at my facility called “cue fasting” and we now require a “cue fast” for all of our clients when they begin training with us. We’ve decided to take the game up a notch in what we are calling “No Cue November.”
