2024 SPEAKER SPOTLIGHT
Multi-talented and award-winning actor Neal McDonough will be joining us in Minneapolis this Labor Day!

McDonough is well known for his performances in productions such as Band of Brothers, Minority Report, Walking Tall, and Yellowstone. He also starred in many stage productions, and most recently played Wh**ey Bulger on stage in Finding Wh**ey at the Wilbur theater in Boston and Daddy Warbucks in Annie. But he’s most proud of his relationship with God, his wife, Ruvé, and their five children. McDonough trained at Syracuse University and studied at LAMDA in London.

We're so excited to have Fr. Mike Schmitz, presenter of the number one podcast 'Bible in a Year', back for this year's Good News conference!

Fr. Mike is the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries in the Diocese of Duluth, Minnesota, as well as a speaker and author. He is known for his internet presence, especially his ‘Bible in a Year’ and ‘Catechism in a Year’ YouTube videos. He has been a speaker for various Catholic programs and events, including the Fellowship of Catholic University Students leadership summit, Ascension Presents, and Steubenville Conferences.

2024 SPEAKER SPOTLIGHT

Dr. Barbara Jatta, Director of the Vatican Museums will be presenting at this year's Good News Conference. Dr. Jatta has been Director of the Vatican Museums since 2017 and is the first woman to hold the position. She graduated from the La Sapienza University in Rome and did periods of post-graduate study in the UK, Portugal, and the United States.

We look forward to hearing her speak in Minneapolis this Labor Day weekend!

We are excited to share that Dr Jordan B Peterson will be joining us again this year at the Good News Conference! Dr. Peterson is an internationally renowned psychologist that has consulted for the UN Secretary General, served as an adviser to senior partners of major Canadian law firms, and lectured extensively in North America and Europe.

His wife, Tammy Peterson, a recent convert to Catholicism, will also be presenting in Minneapolis! She hosts “The Tammy Peterson Podcast”, a podcast that delves into issues such as faith through a counter-cultural lens.

At the age of 34, Monsignor Shea was inaugurated as President of University of Mary and was the youngest college or university president in the United States. He is a well known speaker and priest of the Diocese of Bismarck.
