Offering an easy walk to the beach and Middleton Park, this newly constructed, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is pet-friendly and offers the conveniences of home in a cozy layout for you and your family to enjoy your Oak Island getaway. This modern home offers a large open space for playing games, watching movies, or planning your beach day. You can savor your morning coffee or an afternoon siesta on the

screened-in porch while the kids and pup(s) play in the private fenced-in back yard. This home is in the desirable Tranquil Harbor area of Oak Island, nestled in a quiet spot where you can often hear the soft sounds of the surf off in the distance at high tide. This desirable location offers an easy walk (0.4 mile / 8-10 minutes) from the Oak Island Cabanas and the beach. There is a splash park for the kids, a large playground area, ice cream and doughnut shops, pizza and sandwiches, restaurants, and Publix grocery store. At the other end of the street, an 8-10 minute walk takes you to a boat launch and the Long Beach Paddle Company, where you can rent kayaks and paddle boards or book a tour. Oak Island Fishing Pier is a short drive away, and you are only a ten minute drive from the public Oak Island Par 3 Golf course in Southport. The kitchen is well-equipped with a large refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, and blender. The spacious center island is great for food preparation, a nice breakfast, buffet space, or a gathering spot for planning your adventures. The living area’s open layout allows everyone to have room to spread out while still being together. The wrap-around screened porch is steps away from the outdoor shower and is located just off the kitchen. All bedrooms will have freshly laundered linens in bundles on your beds. Bathroom and kitchen towels will also be included. Note that bath towels cannot be used at the beach, so please bring your own beach towels, or if you prefer, they can be rented separately and delivered to you. Since we are pet friendly, we would ask that you bring a dog blanket for your pup to use if they enjoy snuggling with you on the furniture. There is also a raised dog bed so your dog has its own spot to relax and cool off. We will offer starter supplies for your stay: hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, coffee and tea supplies, shampoo/conditioner, and body wash. The home also includes fast, reliable internet, a washer and dryer, self-check-in keypad, and a beach wagon. All the bedrooms have memory foam mattresses and smart TVs. The primary suite has a king bed and bath with a walk-in shower and convenient double sinks. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a full bath in the hallway separating it from the third bedroom with two twin beds. There are parking spots in the driveway with enough space to accommodate three cars. Beach items and bikes should be stored in the fenced backyard.

We do more than just rent our home on Oak Island here at Xanadu. We believe in giving and volunteering to this beautiful place.
We recently visited the Sea Biscuit Wildlife Shelter. My family was asked to release a Gannet back into the wild. Please consider this worthy cause. Our busy island also creates problems with birds being injured by boats and cars. Money or time/skills
