Paws N' Flip Flops Welcome to Paws N' Flip Flops on beautiful Oak Island, NC. Our dog friendly single level home with a fully fenced in back yard is the perfect place to relax.

And its only a 10 minute walk to the beach! This is our second home, and we love to spend time here with our two rescue dogs. We decided to open our home to guests (and their dogs) who like a cozy, single level home nestled in a quiet neighborhood with little traffic. We are just a 10 min walk from the beach (over a scenic walkway) or a 3 min walk to the Intra-Costal Waterway and an easy drive to

great restaurants and shopping. After a day of exploring all that Oak Island has to offer, shower off the sand in our outside hot/cold shower and relax in our fully enclosed back yard with a 6-foot privacy fence. If you bring your dogs, they will appreciate the shady backyard and the visiting squirrels. Hang out in the hammock or have a glass of your favorite beverage in our screened in patio. You can even stream your playlist on our outdoor blue tooth speaker. (Please remember that this is a quiet neighborhood). Our white picnic table is the perfect place for you to enjoy what the cook serves up on the gas BBQ. Our 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home was built in 2018 and is mostly carpet-free (luxury vinyl plank floors). Our Home is perfect for small families, girls or guys weekends, or couple getaways. It is just not for smoking, loud parties and inconsiderate people. If you are prone to either, please donโ€™t make a reservation.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธTraffic is always heavy when attending any festival, but knowing how the traffic will be routed on July 4th will make all the difference in making sure you have the best experience possible.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธStudy the map below and make sure you know where you can make a right turn and which roads traffic will be routed. Don't assume that you can egress the same manner you do 364 days out of the year.

๐Ÿ‘ฎ NOTE: The use of E Moore Street, to Leonard, to Rob Gandy (or) Utilizing Rob Gandy or Jabbertown Rd, to E Leonard Street will help take traffic off of Howe Street. Many people use Howe Street as their primary route in and out of the City. The use of Rob Gandy, Jabbertown, and E Moore will take a lot of strain off of Howe Street if used, especially after the parade.

JUNE 12, 2024 โ€ข NEW 'BEACH WARNING LIGHT' SIGNS

Crews with the Public Works Department just wrapped up installation of four (4) NEW "Beach Warning Light" signs. These new signs feature a fully automated wireless control system, and are the first of their kind to be used in the Carolinas!

What type of bird could that be when its grown up? It was hiding behind our garbage cans at Paws N' Flip Flops. It cannot fly yet and as there are a lot of cats on our street we caught it. I am on my way to a local bird rescue to see if they can help. We did not want it to become cat food๐Ÿ˜”

It was pretty busy when we arrived and everyone of the staff we encountered was friendly and professional. Jordan did a great job checking on us without being pushy, and the food was great, too! The water was especially beautiful today at โ€œThe Pointโ€ this afternoonโค๏ธ

This pretty cat is hanging out next to our driveway at Paws N' Flip Flops all the time. Yesterday she was laying under my car when we came back from our morning walk with Lucky. She looks well fed and she runs when he sees us and the dogs. I hope she has a good home here on OKI๐Ÿ™

We recently wekcomed Breck and Bailey at Paws Nโ€™ Flip Flops. Their moms told us they loved the beach and our backyard ๐Ÿฟ๏ธ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฟ๏ธ๐Ÿถ
