My soon-to-be-cousin had the most beautiful shower over the weekend. She wore her mom’s wedding dress that I recreated for her by removing the sleeves and back, a few take-in tweaks and hem to then have the cutest halter dress. Can not wait to showcase the wedding dress in a month 💕

It is becoming more and more common to get baptism outfits made before the grand babies are born. Out of just 1 wedding dress, I was able to get a girls gown, boys romper, hanky and still have some left over. It is so special to be able to create these family heirlooms to be used for years and years.

In June, Kinga came to me with a bit of an emergency. She wasn’t all that thrilled with her current bridal alterations. I was able to get her in for a few tweaks and the bustle of all bustles. Her train was incredibly long and needed a 16 spot double bustle to be able to enjoy her entire reception.

I’m lucky to call this beautiful babe family. This sweet cousin was christened last weekend in a dress made from scratch. No wedding dress was used, it was all brand new material. Layers of tulle, a classic lace, hand beaded bodice with the perfect puff sleeve. From making her mom’s prom dress to working on her wedding dress and now her baby’s dress. These are the best moments that I love what I do 💕

With halfway through the year, I have seen so many brides thus far. I would say that I build a connection with each and every one of them and sometimes I have a bride that I feel like known for years and years. Meg was a bride that married last month at Ravisol Country Club. I had the pleasure of doing her dress, many of her maids and the moms. **Shared on my personal page… sorry if you saw this already** A few weeks ago my Daughter was like mom you need to get on tik tok. I said, I don’t need any more business🤣🤣 I’m already too busy. She was like no, you need the showcase your wedding gown alterations because I think people will think it’s so cool to see. I know nothing about tik tok!!! So she did this video over the course of a few hours of hemming a wedding dress ! Shortened it to Showcase in 3 minutes ! I must say it’s pretty cool! Enjoy !!!
