The Washington Coast receives approximately 200 days of precipitation each year, keeping our forests green and lush. You (and your dogs) can experience the magic of a coastal forest at the Weatherwax Nature Preserve.

Located near the center of Ocean Shores along Duck Lake, the Weatherwax is home to new and old-growth trees, diverse vegetation, fungi, and just about 100 animal species. A relatively flat 1.2-mile trail loops through the preserve. Parking for about 6 cars is available near the trailhead.

Executive Chef Doug is a Le Cordon Bleu classically trained chef who honed his Italian cooking skills in Siena, Italy. He believes excellent ingredients speak for themselves and that good food takes time, and great food takes a little longer. This is why he arrives at 5:00 am each morning to start his sauces!

90% of the menu can be made gluten-free upon request. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available.
