It's always special to see residents achieve their dream of opening their own business. Kobina Amoo and his family are now serving delicious donuts with personalized toppings at Pattie Lou's Donuts, Orlando on Pine Street in Downtown Orlando.

District 5 Commissioner: Regina Hill, District 3 Commissioner: Robert F. Stuart and District 6 Commissioner: Bakari F. Burns and I were thrilled to be there for the grand opening this morning. I am glad that we could help Kobina open the doors through support from our Downtown Commercial & Residential Building Improvement Program. The program provides funds to business owners to help offset some of the costs associated with opening a new business.
