Visiting all 50 states is still on my bucket list, but studies show that out of 50 states, 8 is the average number most people have visited. Sadly, many never leave the state in which they were born. The Florida Panhandle has plenty to see and do besides the spending the day on the beach. NAS Pensacola has the National Naval Air Museum the has an array of aircraft and artifacts. If you go on a Tuesday between March and November, you will be able to catch a free demonstration for the US Navy Blue Angels. If you take a drive up 98 to Ft Walton Beach, you can check out the Air Force Armament Museum. Shopping is great, dolphin boat tours are fantastic! Book your next vacation to Florida's Emerald Coast and experience it for yourself.

The Queen's Staircase, commonly referred to as the 66 steps, is a major landmark that is located in the Fort Fincastle Historic Complex in Nassau. It was hewn out of solid limestone rock by slaves between 1793 and 1794 and it is said that it provided a direct route from Fort Fincastle to Nassau City. These steps were later named in honour of Queen Victoria, who reigned in Britain for 64 years from 1837 to 1901.
