Mental Skill #1 - Goal Setting

What are you trying to accomplish as an athlete?

Most athletes have clear short and long-term goals for their performance, but they don't have the steps lined up for how they'll achieve them. You may visualize or verbalize your goals but try writing them down instead. Believe it or not, writing your goals down will help you set process goals which are the steps you'll need to take to reach your short and long-term goals. Achieving your process goals leads to an increased self-confidence that improves your physical performance.
