While I have been busy planning lots of vacations for 2024 and 2025 I am of course keeping my mind open towards 2026 and beyond! My mom and I are actually planning our first mother daughter trip to France for 2026 which will of course include a visit to Disneyland Paris!
I first visited Disneyland Paris as a day trip in 2019 with a friend and absolutely fell in love with their parks. The castle is beyond stunning and you can’t beat walking down their Main Street towards the castle with a fresh croissant in hand! The day we went ride wait times were also very low so we got on every ride in under 15 minutes!
This video has just made me even more excited to look into spending more time with Disneyland Paris and all of the new things that have developed since I was there 5 years ago!

We lost the incredible Disney Legend - James Earl Jones today after 93 years on this earth giving us some of the most iconic performances of a lifetime.
I’m sure everyone has their different movies they loved James from whether it was the voice of one of the most iconic movie characters of all time in Star Wars, an author in Field of Dreams, or king of the country of Zamunda in Coming to America.
But for us 90’s kids and Disney Adults he was both one of the most iconic characters of our youth and part of our childhood trauma. Absolutely no one could ever top the way Mufasa sounds and I hope that no one ever tries!
James Earl Jones’ memory will always be with us through the magic of movies especially in his most iconic parts like The Lion King. I know this part in ‘Happily Ever After’ is now going to be even more powerful with him gone! Rest in peace James - you deserve it after all your years of incredible work.

It’s the freaking Catalina Wine Mixer! But seriously - I went to Catalina for the first time on my most recent cruise on Navigator of the Seas and I have to say it is one of the cutest islands I have ever been to!
We decided to get off the ship a bit later in the day which was perfect because the fog had lifted. We rented a golf cart and drove around the island which gave us picturesque views of this quaint island. After the tour we did some retail therapy before heading back to the ship (sadly there was no time for wine!)
My only experience with Catalina was with the movie ‘Step Brothers’ so to see it in person and get to spend some time exploring this island was a wonderful time and I can’t wait to go back again. I could see going for a weekend to really take in more time there!

Did you know Disney Cruise Line hosts a Halloween on the High Seas event perfect for any Halloween lover! I went on the Disney Wish for this event last fall and had an absolute blast!
Characters will be around in their Halloween costumes. There are tons of special Halloween snacks and drinks to try. But the best thing - you can wear a costume and trick or treat!
That’s right I dressed up as Ariel and partied with Mickey and friends during the Mousequerade Party before grabbing my treat bag filled with candy and other goodies. There were tons of fun activities fit for all ages too - and some for 18+!
If you are like me and LOVE all things Halloween but maybe on the not so scary side then I would highly recommend this cruise!

The Monorail is a speedy train service between Magic Kingdom, The Contemporary Resort, The Ticket and Transport Center (aka The TTC), the Polynesian Hotel, The Grand Floridian Hotel, and EPCOT! This is also just a fun ride to get out of the sun and to sit down for a bit!
