Hey there! Did you know there's a series called "Breaking Strongholds" that is filmed right here in our town of Montgomery, Texas?

Well, if you didn't, now you do... so, while you're staying at The Cottage at Pine Lake, maybe relaxing after an exciting day on Lake Conroe, in front of the cozy fire, snuggled up on the couch, you can enjoy this groundbreaking series on YouTube.

For breakfast the next morning, you may find yourself at the Old Montgomery Steakhouse, or possibly a little further down Highway 105 to check out the popular Whitehall Cafe in Navasota.

Heading back to your comfy cottage for a round of kayaking on Pine Lake, visit the beautiful Historic Montgomery, where you can learn about the deep-rooted history of our "little" town, which is most notable for being the Birth Place of our own Texas Flag! Be sure to bring your camera or have your phone camera ready. 📸
