The Oasis at Orange Beach, Unit 803 - wheelchair accessible

I wanted to update my previous posts about our condo in Orange Beach, AL. We made it accessible for my disabled veteran husband, who has lived with ALS since 2011. We have a roll-in shower, grab bars, and roll-under sink in the master bathroom. We keep a RAZ shower chair, manual hoyer lift, and portable commodes in the closet for our guests to use. We have two adjustable Twin XL beds in the master bedroom. Even though he sleeps in a hospital bed at home, he is very comfortable in this bed with lots of pillows. We also have a ramp to the balcony and a lift chair in the living room. The exciting news is there is now a brand new adults-only pool with a pool lift, and an on-site cafe & bar!

There are just a few dates left in August this summer, and the fall is getting full, too.

It has been approved TO OPEN the kid's splash pad area this evening!!!

The adult pool, grilling pavilion, and sun deck will be OPEN TOMORROW morning! ☀️🌊🌟🕖

The Gift Shop is stocked and ready for this weekend!!!

The Oasis Beachside Cafe & Bar are planning on opening this weekend; however, since the GREEN LIGHT was just given menu items could be very limited. Your patience is appreciated.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We are rolling with the waves around here!! We are ready for a great season and can not wait for all to enjoy The Oasis at Orange Beach!

When you want to book our condo for your beach vacation, you'll be asked if you would like the master beds made up as a King or two Twin XL beds. If the beds are made up as a King, a foam topper is placed on top of both mattresses before the bed is made.

The things that make our condo accessible are the modifications and equipment we provide for our guests to use. A manual hoyer lift, grab bars in two out of four bathrooms, a roll-under sink, a roll-in shower, a RAZ shower chair, a lift recliner, a ramp to the balcony, and Twin XL adjustable beds in the master bedroom make it possible for more families to enjoy time at the beach with their loved ones who need some assistance.
