Baldwin County Homewatwch of Robertsdale, Alabama, has earned accreditation from the NHWA.
Owners Bailey and Austin George are both from Northern Illinois; they left in 2021 so that Bailey could be a travel nurse. After spending time in the Carolinas, they decided to settle in Alabama because of their love for the warm weather and the Gulf. Since being there, Bailey has worked as a cardiac nurse, and Austin has worked for the Foley Street Department. Bailey has always wanted to dip her toes into something other than healthcare (where she has worked since she was 16). After hearing about Home Watch, she thought it would be something she’d be good at. Austin has extensive experience with handyman work and flipping houses; they have tackled three complete home renovations so far.
Bailey has a bachelor’s in Nursing from Saint Anthony College of Nursing in Rockford, Illinois.
Bailey and Austin have always wanted to get into home rentals. Having a family member who also has a Home Watch business (Kristen Riggs of Riggs Request in Lake of the Ozarks, MO, who is also an Accredited Member of the NHWA), it seemed like the perfect opportunity.
Austin and Bailey have been married since 2020 but have been together for almost 10 years. They have two Golden Retrievers, Hank and Piper. Austin and Bailey like to spend time at the beach and take their dogs on walks. They also enjoy baking, traveling, and doing home projects.
