Evenings are better on the water! Enjoy a 4-5 mile kayak paddle from Oregon to the canoe landing at Castle Rock State park on Friday, June 16. 🛶

Kayak, life-jacket, and paddle are supplied by White Pelican Rentals. Oregon Park District staff will serve as a paddle guide, describing the wildlife of the Rock River valley and the history of the Oregon, IL area. Bring your sunscreen and water bottle and spend your evening surrounded by swallows, turtles, herons... maybe even a bald eagle! 🦅

📍 Previous paddling experience is a plus, but is not required. We will meet at the Castle Rock State Park boat launch at 5 pm. White Pelican will then transport to the launch point where the group will paddle back to their vehicles.

The evening paddle will run for approximately three hours, from 5-8 pm. This program is open to ages 16+. The fee is $50R/$60NR and the deadline to register is 6/6!
