When I was in high School I did an internship next door at the John Archer school and had the opportunity to work with children with Down Syndrome. It’s amazing how one chromosome can change your life but those were some of the kindest smartest students I have ever worked with. A lot of time parents don’t have the means to get their children the medical and social help they need and places like Hope Story can connect families to such resources.

I have been very privileged in life and am privileged to be able to runDisney for fun in my back yard. But I wanted to tie the experience to a good cause so that every mile I run I’m doing it for me AND something bigger than me.

Big news from a galaxy far far away!! 🌌

Disney is officially closing the Galactic Starcruiser - it will take its final voyage on September 28th. Guests with reservations past Sept 30th will be contacted by Disney to modify their reservation and new bookings are paused till May 26th!

If you wanna get on do it now… or let’s hope the building will turn into the Star Wars themed Resort it deserved to be - accessible to way more people!!

🚨New Restaurant Alert!! Opening Summer 2023🚨

Tokyo Dining will be replaced by Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya!! According to a blog post “guests will experience seasonal favorites of Japan. With each month comes a different celebration, from “hanging tanzaku to celebrate Tanabata in July to savoring moon-viewing dumplings in September.” A cultural representative from Japan will guide guests through each festival.”

Big news!!! And bookings for 2024 begin May 31st!!

JUST ANNOUNCED: Walt Disney World just dropped some major announcements!

🍽️The Disney Dining Plan is coming back!!! It will be offered for guests who book a vacation package at a Disney Resort hotel with a stay beginning Jan. 9, 2024.

🎟️Disney will remove the park reservation requirement for date-based tickets starting with visits starting on Jan. 9, 2024.

✅Disney is introducing "good-to-go" days for APs and CMs in 2024. Disney will offer "select days" that will not need a park reservation at all.

✨Early theme park entry for guests at Disney Resort hotels and Extended evening hours for guests at Disney Deluxe Resorts will be extended throughout 2024.

🧞‍♂️Disney is working on a way for guests to plan Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane selections before day of their park visit. More details coming at a later date.
