It’s very annoying when people complain about red tide that doesn’t exist. You can look at maps all you want but if you actually visit a beach you’ll see there’s no redtide on lido siesta and Casey keys. The fish kill that people are seeing is mullet from the netting that is going on. I live on the water and I can tell you all it sucks on my dock right now, likely 50 dead bloated mullet but this is not red tide. Not one other species dead. This is direct observation. Is it going to smell nasty at the jetty???yes bc of the dead fish stuck in the rocks, not redtide. These photos are within the last 3 days. Enjoy the last Sunday before kids go back to school.
