It is Black Canyon season!

Ok, let's get it straight... a National Park is a National Park. Do you know why this one is amongst the least visited? Because you need to be a climber to experience its wonders!!!
With short approaches, yet committing routes to drop in and climb out, "The Black" hosts some of the most real trad routes in the country.

As the summer winds down and temps become ideal for the rock walls, climbing season in the Black is just around the corner. Guides day off... owner & IFMGA Guide Dan Z,. had a chance to shredd some lines today amongst the peaks above Ouray & Telluride.

Our guides/owners Dan Z. & Elías are back from Nepal. This one was Dan's 4th trip to the Nepal, and Elías's 12th year guiding in the Himalaya. The duo lead our team onto the summit of Ama Dablam after executing a secluded/custom program for acclimatization.

We're very proud of our team, and despite this being Cirque's 1st international expedition, nearly 20 years of guiding experience combined backed the team's success, along with a well thought out, time-tested logistics & itinerary.

Stay tuned for upcoming expeditions in Alaska and internationally in 2024! Now it's time to focus on our winter wonderland that SW Colorado is for & !!!
