FYI folks the World Dog Surfing Championships is coming to town this Saturday from 9am to 2pm. Locals, plan your day accordingly as the Linda Mar area will be busy with traffic and Hwy 1 will be backed up. Thousands are expected to attend.
Visitors: Enjoy your day and please patronize our local businesses! If bringing your dog please keep them on leash, if you pack it in, please pack it out. Have a great day!
Parking: Paid parking spaces fill up very fast. Cabrillo School on Crespi Dr. will offer additional paid parking. Please do not block resident driveways & do not park where indicated because you will receive a ticket. Local shopping centers will be monitoring their lots.

Chamber welcomed a new member who also was celebrating a 15 year anniversary. Say hello to Veronica McIntyre, owner of Animal Crackers & Little Biscuits.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was conducted on Sat., May 4th where family, friends, family clients and staff gathered along with Chamber board of director, Lynn Gallo and the City of Pacifica's Economic Development Manager, Tara Schiff.
Delicious food was made by Tara's mom, Aida McIntyre.
Veronica's program caters to families wanting individualized care and who understand the value of having consistent caregiving and continuity for their young children's early learning years. They provide a holistic, loving, stimulating environment that promotes and supports healthy attachments, mutual respect, collaborative and emergent learning partnership.

On Wed., April 17th, the Pacifica Chamber held a ribbon cutting ceremony for new member OMARSHALL, INC., a real estate and property management company. OMarshall has had a main office in San Bruno since 1959 and since has opened offices in SF, Burlingame and the newest in Pacifica.
Family, friends and staff from their offices came out to celebrate the occasion. We'd like to thank Bob Marshall & Annie Oliva and their OMarshall team for making Pacifica part of their family tradition.

Here are some helpful tips: Surf Contest Start 10am - Heats: -Small Surf Dogs -Medium Surf Dogs -Large Dogs -Extra Large Dogs -Tandem Dogs -Tandem Human/Dog -Top Dogs 12PM - 1PM BEACH DOG FASHION & COSTUME CONTEST Where: California Canine Booth Free Registration 1PM - 2PM AWARD PRESENTATIONS SURF DOG VILLAGE: -Will consist of 19 "official" participant vendors.
