WANDER
(The luckiest puppy in the world)
Wander was the runt of the litter, a litter of 29 puppies! He was small and could never beat his siblings for his mom’s nutritional meal. His owners were worried for the small pup and decided to bottle feed him till he got stronger. The smallest pup thrived with the extra attention and acquired a sweet, confident and loving personality. As his siblings grew so did Wander who would run and play with his gang.
A few months went by and an advertisement was placed and Little by little the pups were adopted out to families around the area. Wander wasn’t worried because he knew that he would have a special boy to love and care for him. And he was right! A week went by and a nine-year-old boy and his family had an appointment to see the one remaining puppy and when their eyes met it was love at first sight as Wander jumped into the boy’s arms with lots of licks and kisses! Wander had his forever home he always dreamed of and a boy to call his own!

2 different views of an astounding poodle name "Cleopatra":
"Why is this dog so amazing? Because between the first time I saw her (after she was newly trimmed ) and having painted, her based on THOSE photos (as a light beige color) and having delivered the painting I was aghast at seeing a dog of an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT COLOR! She was now a DARK grey dog, entirely unlike the original I had spent a month working on! She looked like a totally different animal! It felt like the "Twilight Zone! Was this dog a chameleon? I had no choice but to almost start over. However All's well that ends well!

"Jewel"/ 16 X 20 latex and mixed media on canvas / $375.

"All her life, Jewel was fascinated with precious stones. As a small child, Jewel began a collection of shiny costume jewelry her mother had put aside in a “give-a-way bag”. She took apart the jewelry and glued it to a board for show- and -tell in grade one. As she got older her collection grew and frequently would go to a gem shows where she educated herself with the names and value of each precious stone. When Jewel reached High School, she would barrow items from her collection and adorn herself with jeweled head caps attached with tiny gold and silver chains.
Now as an adult she landed the perfect career, she travels all over the world inspecting precious gems and fashions them into beautiful jewelry for high end clients! She has her own line of jewelry which adorns the rich and famous. She often reflects on her childhood and remembers a simpler time when each gem in her tiny hand spoke to her in its awesome beauty! "

"Aquatic Nirvana"/ 20 x 20 Helene Bess latex & ink on canvas / $400.

"It’s a little-known fact that deep in space there is an area of higher dimensional vibration where unusual marine life live in peace and harmony with each other. One huge family comprised of all species. There, all colors are transformed into neon brightness, lighting up the black sea of darkness, allowing them to greet each other and swim with ease and joy.
The ocean life that gets transported actually come from our oceans. As mankind continues to pollute the oceans with garbage and other pollutants the marine life gets depleted and as a result the fish are imprisoned in an intolerable existence. This needed to stop, therefore some years ago a fish conference was held deep in the Atlantic Ocean where a representative of each species swam great distances to attend this extremely important meeting. After many weeks of deliberation, a decision was made to form a “lottery” where one fish from each species would be selected. The fish were then teleported to the black space where they could live in peace and harmony. And as you can imagine, they enjoy an endless life swimming among the stars in loving joy."

"Agnes & her butterflies" 16 x 20 Latex/mixed media on canvas / $320.
"Agnes lives in the most southern tip of Florida. Her favorite pastime are her butterflies. In her milkweed garden she is always captivated by the miracle of her hungry caterpillars turning into magnificent butterflies! Agnes checks on her butterflies every day and is devoted to their wellbeing. She is always struck by how each butterfly has its own individual pattern and beautiful coloring.
As you can see, Agnes has a worried look on her face. She has just been informed of a pending hurricane! But Agnes is prepared, she has been through countless hurricanes in the past. She has a temporary home set up in her living room for her beloved butterflies, and the fragile chrysalis where the butterflies and hungry caterpillars will have all that they need to weather the storm. They sense how much care and love Agnes has for them and celebrate by surrounding her in a swirl of glorious color as Agnes dances in delight!"
