Alright y'all , Mardi Gras Season 2024 officially kicks off this Saturday, January 6th. And with that means the start of us taking orders for our Boudin King Cakes topped w/ Crawfish Cream Sauce. We will take orders for a max of 8 per day until Mardi Gras is over. This Saturday we will also be throwing a Mardi Gras Party at Lone Star. Nola Style BBQ Shrimp and Grits and Red Beans n Rice will be serving up all day long. Zydeco Music on the speakers , Hurricanes , Beads and more .

The Salty Siren is a specific kind of siren that can only be found along the Gulf of Mexico. Her songs are a different kind these days. She might be seen in Mobile catching beads or in New Orleans eating gumbo. Most recently an entire pod has inhabited the Mariana in St. Andrews That will surely complicate the rebuild.

According to spoken legend the most densely populated area was the St Andrews Bay. The Salty Sirens knew the natives and traded with the travelers of the area. They had a mermaid woman as a go between to help communicating. Sometimes trades of fish and songs were enough…..if you catch her on the right night I hear they are leading groups through the Drew’s to tell you the rest 🧜🏻‍♀️🧜🧜‍♂️
