Hello, I am the owner and a travel agent for Sunset Meadows Travel, Karolyn De La Portilla. My oldest is now 16, my daughter is 11 and my baby boy is 9. We live in a small town in Texas. We moved out to the country and love it. I love to travel and love to travel with my family. My family and I travel around the United States, soon to other countries. My kids were raised on long car rides. Now old
er and two day car ride for them is no big deal. I have been married for almost 19 years to my best friend Jose. He goes along with my travel ideas and smiles. He is an amazing support and helps me obtain my dreams. I couldn't ask for a better companion. I have really wanted to do more traveling myself but I also wanted to help everyday people go on vacations and create amazing memories so I became a travel agent. Now you are asking yourself ok but why the name Sunset Meadows Travel, I am glad you asked. After we moved to the country my daughter decided she needed to be like the ranches around us and name our small property. She named it Sunset Meadows because we had the best view of the sunset and we have a little meadow. So it has super sentimental value to me. While I was thinking of business names I was having a hard time picking one, until she said Mom why don't you call it Sunset Meadows Travel. It felt right for us so we decided on that special name. I want all my clients to feel like they are family. I want you to feel personable, relaxed, comfortable, loved, and taken care of when you decide to use us to help capture special memories with your loved ones.
