It’s been a bit since I’ve been up to Lake Blanche. This morning was the perfect choice. Cool and shady. The river is still running super high which adds to the nice temps. There were several bull moose enjoying breakfast on the trail as a bonus. We live in a beautiful place.

There’s still lots of snow up high! We hiked up Jupiter Peak for the first time this “summer” season! 🤣. was pretty stoked either way all the snow!

Winter is here! Let’s take a look at our top three winter hikes in Park City – each providing a unique winter experience for different interests and skill levels!

(Mellow) Ontario Mine Trail: a great trail for families or folks whose legs are fried from skiing. 2.5 miles with 400 ft of elevation gain.

(Moderate) Quarry Mountain Trail: for active and adventurous hikers, Quarry Mountain provides a winter hike that allows you to explore our beautiful Park City landscapes. You can generally complete this hike with microspikes (we offer these)! 2.8 miles with 750 ft of elevation gain.

(Advanced) Iron Mountain Trail: the ideal choice for an advanced hike, offering a rigorous workout with breathtaking views. 3 miles with 1200 ft of elevation gain.

Mountain Vista Touring is celebrating 20 years this winter! This is more than I could have ever imagined and I am so grateful. I never would have thought that when I came down the stairs, pitched the idea to my roommates, that I would have created this. The clients that have come back time and time again, the hotel partnerships, the amazing reviews, awesome memories and friends that have been created are beyond my wildest imagination.
