Last week, I shared tips on how to make fresh cut tulips last longer. Here are two photos of the same bouquet, taken a week apart, showing the results of my tips. They seriously look as beautiful as the day I cut them from the Little Yellow House Garden.

✅cut the ends to keep them fresh
✅kept the water cold
✅put them in the fridge at night or when I couldn’t enjoy them
✅kept them away from direct sun/heat
✅used a narrow vase

Second photo also shows how they close up after being in the fridge. Beautiful to see them open during the day.

We had an incredible day today at the Little Yellow House! Our first Pick Your Own Tulip Sale was filled with joy and excitement, and we were thrilled to meet so many wonderful people delighting in the tulips. Seeing their smiling faces totally was worth all the hard work we put into creating the Little Yellow House Picking Garden! Can’t wait for next year!
