Reports from personal contacts living in the affected areas confirm an urgent need and verify that conditions are worse than we realize.
A Perkiomen Tours bus will be delivering much needed supplies to the hardest hit areas of western NC and eastern TN.
Personal arrangements have been made to deliver supplies directly to a private facility in Black Mountain, NC. Distribution will be coordinated by a local church that has developed a very effective network to get supplies to those who need them quickly. If needed, The Cajun Navy will help get the supplies to even the most remote and inaccessible areas via boat, ATV, horseback, mule train, etc.
The goal is to deliver the donated supplies to North Carolina as early as possible, hopefully during the week of October 7, 2024. When the bus is full, it will depart Pennsburg.
