1) The primary purpose of Advent Recovery is to provide addiction recovery services to those who are impaired by an addiction or multiple addictions of any kind or those challenged by the continual maintenance of their recovery from such addictions by way of home, internet (web conferencing, chat/instant messaging), or phone coaching.
2) Advent Recovery’s secondary purpose is to make such services available also to those who are impacted by the imposition of someone else’s addiction such as friends, family, acquaintances etc.
3) Advent Recovery’s third purpose is to provide educational presentations concerning various addictions and addiction recovery options to general community institutions (schools, churches, businesses etc.)
4) Advent Recovery's fourth purpose is to provide 24/7 Companion Coaching: often used when a client returns home from a stay at a treatment center. The coach picks the client up at the treatment center, escorts them home and then slowly helps the client acclimate back into the ‘real world’.

5) Advent Recovery’s fifth and final purpose is to provide professionally hosted addiction recovery intervention training to any in need of such services such as couples, families, businesses or any group in need of such awareness and/or addiction recovery interventions.
Advent Recovery also makes our recovery and intervention services available to Teens in Crisis, "Cutter's"(Those who self harm) and Couples.
Advent Recovery is an Addiction Recovery and Intervention service. Advent Recovery focuses not on an addict's weaknesses, but rather on his or her strengths. By focusing on those abilities and strengths, Advent Recovery helps people to identify and remove obstacles blocking their path to recovery and assists them in getting their lives back on track. Rather than dictating what a client must do, Advent Recovery helps the client identify his or her own strengths, interests and goals. We then work with our clients to create a personalized step-by-step plan to achieve their goals. This approach empowers our clients to take control of their lives and their recovery. Chief coach and CEO, Todd Dempsey, believes our motto 'We only fail when we stop trying". We assist our clients in reaching their full potential.
Advent Recovery, quite frankly, is of a higher quality than many other Addiction Recovery Coaching programs for 5 prime reasons:
COMPETITIVE QUALIFICATIONS
To start Advent Recovery's chief coach, Todd Dempsey not only has personal experiences that inspired his passion for working with those in the need of recovery, psychological, and addiction services but he is also a highly trained Addictions Recovery professional who has been awarded high honors at many nationally accredited institutions whose primary focus are in the fields of Psychology, Sociology, Addiction Studies and Substance Abuse Counseling. Other agencies only provide coaches who are provided with a limited number of hours of Recovery Coaching training that often do not amount to much more than 60-90 hours of self study from non-accredited institutions.
Beside his comprehensive and accredited educational background Mr. Dempsey is also a nationally certified Crisis Intervention and Sexual Assault Prevention Specialist who has spent countless hours working in the fields of Addiction Counseling, Prevention services and Crisis management. Todd is also responsible for creating the Comprehensive Overdose Prevention Education (C.O.P.E.) program, the first Overdose Prevention program presented in the state of Delaware and has volunteered hundreds of hours on Delaware's only Needle Exchange Program as well as the 1st State's primary Crisis Intervention Lifeline. Todd has spent numerous years working directly with those in dire need of compassionate human services and addiction education. His credentials and experiences continue to serve as a great resource for both our community and our clients.
NOT JUST FOR ADDICTS:
The Second reason that Advent Recovery Coaching is superior than most other Addiction Recovery Coaching programs is because it is not only available to those suffering from addiction but it is available for those who are struggling with a friend or family member who is afflicted by the plight of destructive behaviors. It is extremely hard to watch someone you care about fall prey to addiction and even harder to know what you can do about it. Advent Recovery helps its clients tailor a specific course of action designed to meet the needs of those who are challenged by another person's addiction. When you're dealing with someone you love who is afflicted by addiction it can feel like you're all alone. With Advent Recovery Coaching it doesn't have to be that way. The addict is not the only person who needs to recover from their addiction.
(Group or family sessions are also available upon request).
REAL TO LIFE CONTACT:
The Third reason that Advent Recovery is more desirable than most other Addiction Recovery Coaching programs is because where other agencies only utilize the internet and/or phone services Advent Recovery offers face to face interactions with those located in Southern New Jersey and the greater Delaware Valley. Being able to meet a client right where they are allows for a more comprehensive interaction.
See our website at www.adventrecovery.webs.com to learn more about our available services which also include Skype Conferencing, , Chat, and Unlimited Email communication between appointments.
FORMAL PRESENTATIONS AND INTERVENTIONS:
The Fourth reason that Advent Recovery Coaching exceeds other Coaching programs is because it also offers group or family presentations on topics such as Traditional and Emerging Street Drugs, Stress Reduction, Overdose Prevention, Treatment Options and Su***de Prevention and will host formal intervention training for those who need to reach out to family members, friends, employees or peers for anyone. We believe that education and prevention serve to be the best deturent for those dealing with or considering addictive behaviors.
COST APPROPRIATE:
The Fifth and probably most compelling reason for our clients is because of our uniquely affordable rates. Where other Addiction Recovery Coaching services charge between 200.00 to 600.00 dollars per 45 minutes of contact, Advent Recovery only charges 75.00 dollars per single hour purchases and has even more affordable packages available at an even further reduced cost. (Continue reading or Visit, www.adventrecovery.webs.com for information on our Comprehensive and Cost Efficient packages)
A mechanic charges about 60-90 dollars an hour
A therapist charges about 110-150 dollars an hour
