Yuuuuppp‼️ Roast Turkey 🦃 Dinner with dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce, 2 vegetables, and bread 🍞 for less than 12 bucks including tax‼️ If it’s at all possible and I time my drive properly with my hungerometer Bates House of Turkey is a must stop 🛑 on my I-65 Bama-Cola Trips‼️ Why’s it gotta be soooo good⁉️😋 🚙 🥴 🚗 😁

”Hill Yeah‼️” Everythang’s Peachy 🍑‼️
I was so excited because my baby sister Patricia came up to Birmingham to visit this weekend. We got a chance to visit 🚗 friends and relatives ❤️ in Oneonta, Jemison, and Birmingham.
Trisha got a chance to taste Johnny Brooklere’s secret recipe Chicken Salad. She gives it her seal of approval! 🏆 It’s sooooo good‼️
We had dinner at the Iconic Bright Star Restaurant 🌟 in Bessemer last night and today we had good ole Bama BBQ at Peach Park in Clanton then we topped it off with World Famous Fresh and Delicious Homemade Peach 🍑 Ice Cream‼️ She will head to Pensacola and I’m headed back to the ‘ham‼️ This was one of my favorite 🤩 weekends so far! Family is everything‼️and FRAMILY IS everything then some‼️ I guess that completes our Central Alabama Tour! 😂😂t

Had a big fun 🤩 time in Midtown Mobile, Alabama today with this hilarious girl Mollye Barrows and Vivian‼️ We had Brunch 🥘 at Spot of Tea ☕️, looked at the Art 🖼️ at Lupercalia Art Society, toured the History Museum of Mobile, shopped at Bienville Souvenir & Gifts 🎁, and had the best warm and cooked fresh to order Beignets at Mo’Bay Beignet Co. 😁
It’s just fun to get away for a quick day trip! Mobile is always fun 🤩 with lots of music, food, drink, and people watchin’‼️🤩😁😎
I like to go every month or so just to see the change and different displays of art 🖼️ at the awesome, eclectic Lupercalia Art Society. It’s especially cool 😎 to go downstairs to where there used to be a Speakeasy. This building was also used as a safe place for The Underground Railroad where underground tunnels went from this building to the Church ⛪️ across the street.

We are sooooo excited!!!
We are in Monroeville Alabama (soon to be transformed into the fictional town of Maycomb, Alabama) to see a stage adaptation 🎭 about the best book 📕 ever written‼️ “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee. The first act is outside in the courtyard here at the actual Courthouse. Then the second act is in the Courtroom. The time period is 1935.
It’s showtime‼️ Trish and I have been trying to make it here for this epic experience for over 10 years‼️ We’re so tickled to be here to ”Watch Alabama Do What New York Can’t‼️” 🤩

😊 Could this day ☀️ get any better⁉️
It just did‼️ I made it to Montgomery in time to have dinner at Chris' Famous Hotdogs. This hot dog 🌭 joint has been here over 105 😁 years‼️It is Iconic Montgomery! I love the family that owns it. Especially 🤩 Mr. Theo Katechis ( he is Chris’ son). He is a hoot 😂. I haven’t seen 👀 him yet, but I will look for him before I go. For now I’m listening to the waitresses choice on the juke box….”Ghostbusters”‼️ 🎵 “Brickhouse” and then “You Dropped da Bomb on Me” ….and I love it‼️. It’s loud and happy and I’m all about that‼️….and true to my unpredictability I’m having a famous Special Cheeseburger 🍔 instead of a hot dog. ‘Cause I love ❤️ both of ‘em.
I am charmed 🤩 by homey, old tyme places like these and the folks that operate them ‘cause they make me happy 😊 and I like patronizing local hometown businesses. I travel 🚗 by myself a lot so I go where I feel safe and seen. This place right here feels like home to me…a loud, fun, happy home..like I grew up in.
Plus this is a part of my life long 💭 dream! To work in a Pharmacy with an Olde Tyme Soda Fountain that serves Ice Cream, Milkshakes, Short Order Grilled 🌭🍔Foods, Homemade Southern Recipe Sandwiches 🥪 like Chicken Salad, Pimento Cheese, and my Momma’s Secret 🤫 Recipe Egg Salad. I even want to serve Smoothies, Frozen Yogurt, and all kind of 🍜 soups! It’s my dream 💭 and it will happen one day‼️
I may be 105 when it happens, but it will happen‼️😂
Founded in 1917, Chris' Hot Dogs 🌭 has been a fav 🏆 of of all us folks! Young and old, rich and poor, as well as people of all races are welcome and have sat together in the quaint dining area of this Montgomery institution. Folks from every state 🇺🇸 and lots of other countries. Franklin D. Roosevelt (who would frequently ask for a box of the world famous hot dogs as his train stopped in the Montgomery train station), Harry Truman, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Presidents Bush 41 & 43, Jimmy Stewart, Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, Clark Gable, Tallulah Bankhead and Whoopi Goldberg‼️ Since they opened in 1917, every Alabama Governor has eaten at Chris' even Governor Kay! ….And lots of Politicians….as I was walking to my table I heard one of the yarn spinners …I discovered to be a very nice and friendly guy named Gus…who happens to be Theo’s son! in the diner add to the stories …”and lots of liars …ummm I mean legislators, have eaten here too!”😂😂😂….
Well, at least they had great taste‼️😂🤩😎🌭🍔❤️

Sugar Hill U-Pick Farms for the 🥇 WIN‼️
This cute 🥰 family owned farm is wonderful! It’s clean, well tended, plennnnty of strawberries and just absolutely peaceful ✌️‼️ They have a playground for children and picnic 🧺 tables. They also sell all kind of fresh picked vegetables as well as strawberries they have picked. 🍓
I chose 🤔 to pick my own berries 🍓because I like to plus it’s fun 🤩 and also I wanted to keep the stems a little longer because I’m going to dip them in chocolate 🍫 ‼️
Yogi Bear and Boo Boo would have a bit of a challenge here because they would prolly break one of the few rules Sugar Hill has. You can not eat berries while you pick them! 😂🍓😂🍓😂🍓😎
It was a perfect no stress while enjoying nature, fresh air, and sunshine ☀️ kinda afternoon! Plus my car 🚗 has the fruity fresh aroma of red, ripe, delicious strawberries‼️

I am on my way out to the country to pick some Alabama Strawberries and as if that itself is not wonderful 🤩 enough….I stopped by Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Homewood to grab my favorite smoothie an Avocolada for breakfast! Can’t nobody tell me nuthin’ today‼️😂😂 Just call me “Missus Good Life!” 😉

Every time I come home I just have to go visit my friend Michael Perez at Pineapple Express Rice Bowls at The Eatery in Gulf Breeze‼️ ….because I love being witness to someone’s dreams coming true right before my very eyes. Of course we know dreams take hard work!
I accidentally discovered Michael and his uniquely cool 😎 and healthy restaurant a few years ago right before the Pandemic. He was in downtown Pensacola serving Hawaiian Inspired Rice Bowls. 🍍 🌺 My curiosity and affinity for all things Pineapple 🍍 and Avocado 🥑 got me in the door. The second I walked up to the counter I knew I loved 🥰 this place. Michael, his wife, and sister in law (who all by the way look like Ford Agency Models 😉) were all smiles and created me a perfect bowl of Rice, chicken, peppers, onions, pineapple, and avocado topped with their special Pineapple Express Sauce. I loved the freshness, the flavor, the crunch, and the deliciousness. I had never had Tajin seasoning before so I asked Michael what it was..he said it was a mixture of peppers, lime, and salt and brings out the flavor in fruit. So I put some on my pineapple and it was even better! …
Fast forward to today…Michael now has a new location…His Food Truck is at the Eatery where he and his buddy Victor serve up the same Epic Pineapple Express Bowls that they did in the brick and mortar business Downtown. Michael is also a Realtor and an Entrepreneur. He always has a positive attitude and a sweet spirit.
I always tell Michael every time I see him that I am soooo proud of him for just being a decent, good, loving, and kind, Jesus-loving, human all while opening a business (a restaurant at that) during a World Wide Pandemic 😷 and making it happen inspite of all the obstacles.
This is what success looks like 🤩 and I hope he always knows Ms. Pam is always for him‼️
If ya get a chance to get out to Gulf Breeze and you crave a fresh, flavorful, and delish lunch or dinner prepared by one awesome Mr. Nice Guy…go see Michael at The Eatery‼️ Tell him Ms. Pam sent ya‼️😉☀️🍍

🎵 Hey Soul Sisters Art & Decor y‘all did a fantastic 🤩 job on designing and personalizing my new Welcome Sign for Casa de Hill Yeah‼️
I had such a good 😊 time at the Art Show at the Gardendale Civic Center yesterday morning! There are over 60 vendors and artists and admission is FREE‼️ It’s inside so it is on “rain or shine”. Soooo many cute, fun, and sweet Spring/Summer gifts made by local artists 👩‍🎨!
The show is today also…from 9am until 4pm‼️ 🤩 🖼️ 😊 👩‍🎨 ❤️

My Azaleas 🌺 bloomed without me‼️…and I’m not mad about it‼️🤩
It was so welcoming to drive up to my home 🏡 Casa de Hill Yeah and see this bunch of vibrant Mobile Pink Ruffle Azaleas 🌺 circled around my big oak 🌳 tree. It made me smile, ‘cause these usually bloom closer to my nephew Justin’s birthday in late March. I would tell him when he was little, I planted them especially for him! 😉
God knew I needed that little pop 💥 of happy delight early this year…so this little dainty flowery God wink 😉 made my☀️ day! I immediately thought 🤔 to myself …God is literally showing me his promise to offer “Beauty for Ashes”. Even through the most difficult times, He will always be there. I just have to keep seeking Him and His will. He will never leave me ‘cause He indeed is a good, good Father‼️
P.S. No flowers were harmed in this foolishness below. I copied what my Mom used to do when picking flowers and went back to Old School Southern Lady Vibes …and these pink beauties are floating in a big ole serving bowl on my dining room table. I better be careful my “country mouse-ness” is showing…but I wouldn’t have it any other way. 😂
We should always make time to “stop and smell the 🌹 roses” unless you’re a weirdo like me and you choose to “stop and eat the 🌸 azaleas”‼️😂😂😂
