It was a great joy for us to organize this unique family trip for one of our clients. It’s not every day you get to experience the wild wonder of an African safari with your loved ones! Every moment was filled with surprises and delightful experiences 🦁🐘🦒. They were a pleasure to collaborate with and to ensure they cherished this trip forever, we arranged for a photographer to document their memories.

Having an add-on like this photographer on your family trip allows you to fully immerse yourselves in the experience, while someone else captures your interactions and special moments. This way, sharing the memories with others in the future becomes much easier and more vivid than relying solely on spoken words.

☕ Access to coffee in the morning is a must. Is there good quality coffee available in the room? Is complimentary coffee available in the lobby? Is there an on-property coffee shop and, if so, what time does it open?
🚰 Are there complimentary water bottles provided in the room? Are there water filling stations throughout the property?
☀️ For sunny destinations, do they provide complimentary sunscreen either pool or beachside? Do they give guests totes to use at the pool or beach?
🛁 Are there plush robes, slippers, and linens in the room?
🪞 Is there a full-length mirror in the room? How is the lighting?
💨 Is there an iron or steamer available?

Some things that I look for before I book hotels for my clients (part 2!) ⬇️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🛏️ Good bed and comfortable linens
🌴 The view! Most people will deal with a smaller room as long as the view is spectacular.
👗 Ample closet and drawer space for all travelers, including enough hangers for everyone.
☕ Making sure items in the room are replenished to include towels, coffee, creamer, etc. on a daily basis.
✈️ Proximity to the airport and activities.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As I mentioned in part 1, I always keep client-specific criteria in mind when reviewing properties as well. So whether you require a make-up mirror, on-site yoga, or a fully-stocked mini fridge, I will ensure any hotel I book for you has what you need.

This is how I survived 3 countries in 30 days (and over 15,000 miles flown) 📕⬇️

🚰 WATER, lots and lots of water. Plus some extra hydration with LiquidIV. I avoid alcohol (when flying) and airline food (if I can help it). Airline food tends to be full of sodium and it honestly never tastes very good. On a long flight, I will pack something from home or grab something at the airport.
😴 Sleep whenever you can, including flights and cat naps between meetings.
💊 Melatonin and fiber pills are always in my luggage to help me feel regular despite any changes in diet or sleep schedule.
💕 Texts from my sweet and supportive husband who knows how hard I work to make my clients happy 🥰

📝 Travel Insurance. If you are a frequent traveler like me, you can purchase an annual insurance policy that will cover all your travel. But, at minimum, you should insure your individual trips.

🛋️ Lounge Access: You aren’t a true travel pro until you have lounge access. You can get access through the airline, your credit card, or PriorityPass. Trust us, it will completely change the way you travel.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🧳 Luggage: Elite travelers carry-on only, so invest in luggage that is high-quality, lightweight with four wheels, and a generous warranty. Traveling without checked baggage gives you more flexibility in case of canceled flights or miss connections.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🛩️ Airline Loyalty: Although loyalty does not mean as much as it used to, being a frequent flyer with high status on an airline has its perks: immediate rebooking for canceled flights or missed connections, priority for standby and potential for upgrades.

Here's everything you should do when visiting Malta 🇲🇹✔️ Visit Valletta, Malta's capital and the smallest capital city in Europe. Valletta is a UNESCO world heritage site and full of rich history to explore both on land and by sea.
✔️ Explore Mdina, a medieval walled town, also known as the Silent City.
✔️ Take a boat tour to the Blue Lagoon and enjoy a day of swimming, snorkeling, and hiking.
✔️ Visit the megalithic temples and get a glimpse into Malta's prehistoric past.
✔️ Try some traditional Maltese food which is rustic and based on the seasons. Look out for Lampuki Pie (fish pie), Rabbit Stew, Bragioli (beef olives) and Kapunata (Maltese version of ratatouille).

For such a small country, there is no shortage of ways to spend your time here. It's a lovely destination on its own as well as a perfect stop on a European tour.
