Want to try your hand at trail maintenance? Join our volunteer trail crew on Wednesdays and Thursdays!

Great Smoky Mountains National Park invites you to join our volunteer trail crew every Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the Ramsey Cascades rehabilitation project and every Thursday on the Little Cataloochee Trail. Beginning now and lasting throughout the summer, volunteers will meet to assist NPS Trail crews in making long lasting improvements to these trails. Ramsey Cascades trail is found within the Greenbrier area of the park in TN, and The Little Cataloochee Trail is within the Cataloochee area of the park in NC. Please contact the Trails Volunteer Coordinator by email at [email protected] or call 828-497-1949 for more information and to sign up to attend a workday. Prior registration is required.
