Ruff Life getting some much needed tree trimming and landscaping while I’m here. Doing lots of work inside and out. But every evening I make sure I take a break for the sunset! Oh and we participated in the first golf cart poker run!

I am thrilled with the interest in Ruff Life! Unfortunately we have some scammers out there who took my pics and tried renting it to get money from people. I only rent the house through VRBO or Airbnb unless you are someone I know personally. If anyone has any problems please let us know the authorities are trying to find these crooks.

It’s become a family tradition that we try and make sunrise in the crows nest of the house drinking coffee but we absolutely don’t miss a beach sunset. Look at this pic someone took last night. 😍

‎Michele’s house was a incredible treat! ‎🏝‎She was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. The property management team was attentive, kind and helpful in meeting our needs! Their pick up service and grocery delivery is well worth it! Take the time to plan/order ahead and they will take care of everything else! ‎🤗‎ Ruff Life House was well stocked with necessities for large or small groups, very clean, and things were simplified on ‘island time’. We loved that the main kitchen, dinning and living room with decks had no bedrooms on that floor. This made it easy for anybody in our stay to feel comfortable with it’s accessibility at any time! ‎🙌‎ We also loved the cabana level had a kitchenette with its own refrigerator for those that wanted to be in a more secluded space! The house’s crows nest with a 360 view and private pool was a treat every time❣️Along with few min walk to the gulf side beach for waves and beautiful sunset ‎🌅‎ OR the bayside beach for swimming amongst dolphins and a beautiful sunrise sunrise ‎🌄‎ ! We enjoyed exploring the islands hidden gems on the golf carts provided with the house! ‎🏖‎ A little note: the golf carts all over the island can move quickly so take it slow and enjoy the journey! We would love to come back to The Ruff Life House sometime! This is definitely the perfect place to stay in North Captiva! Island Pros: The island is a raw natural beauty, a well kept secret full of hidden gems! ‎🏖‎A must visit‎💎‎ Island Cons: The island is raw nature, so that means don’t forget the bug repellents 🦟 and ointments🧴‎☺‎️! We excited for our next adventure on North Captiva in the future!! 🥂‎

We’d like to introduce you to one of our Ruff Life founders Cooper! He loves to swim, long walks on the beach and catch a snooze whenever he can! We named Ruff Life after our dogs and all the fun adventures they have! ❤️

Welcome to Ruff Life! I’m so excited to be able to offer this awesome house to others to rent. The house is on North Captiva Island in Florida. It’s a little bit of a unique island. You can’t get there by car. You have to catch the ferry or your own boat. There are no cars on the island. We use golf carts to get around.
