My love for travel started in my early 20’s, as I was a flight attendant for Delta Airlines. I remember turning 21 in Mexico and the ice storm that crippled the eastern part of the US (I slept on a couch in Boston airport for 4 days). Right before 9-11 I switched careers but still had the love of travel in my blood. Back in 2007 I was lucky enough to travel to Gioia Tauro Italy, where I resided f
or a year. I simply fell in love with the culture, people, food and history. That trip to Italy left me wanting more, more travel, more history, more culture and most of all more local food. I have traveled everywhere from the coast of France, mountains of Zurich to the cliffs of Iceland. My husband is more of a home-body and simple guy. His common phrase to me is “ just tell me where and when we are leaving”. Mike and I have done yearly “family” cruise trips starting back in the late 2000’s. We have stayed in balcony suites and the interior suites.. (have even stayed on deck 2 - partying with the crew). Mike and I have done numerous Caribbean, Hawaiian Island hopping cruise and even a destination wedding Alaskan cruise. Last year my five-year-old did her first cruise. I admit I was nervous about bringing her (first time mom cruise :) But let me tell you it was amazing! Maddie everything about the cruise from the ice skating shows, hot tubs, pools and most of all Ocean Adventure club. My husband loved the fact that there were no lines and everything was already paid. As for myself, I loved how laid back a cruise is. You can be busy and on the go, or laid back and chill. I feel cruising is the most wallet friendly family vacation. It gives you a sample of an island/ country culture. Makes you ask yourself would I like to come back to this island /country another time . Planning vacations should be fun and stress free. Let my love and knowledge of land and sea travel guide you on your adventure. Patty
