Why do we love steaming hot cups of coffee on a chilly Maine winter day? You don’t have to be outdoors to be cold in the wintertime. Plenty of folks work indoors in temps that are not as toasty as you might think. As our laser is cutting and shaping the different products we make, it produces smoke which must be exhausted to the outside, just like a wood stove. Our nice warm room air gets drawn into the laser in a continuous cycle as long as the machine runs. It’s a dance - how much profit do we spend on heating oil? Be warm and toasty or work in our down coats? We’ve chosen to keep our work room on the “cooler” side. So we really appreciate putting our hands around a nice warm cup and letting that coffee warm us up on the inside as well.

We've been quiet here but working behind the scenes. Wholesale orders rolling in; spent yesterday preparing some desktop adventures :)
