With rising costs of airfare, this is a great vacation option and less than an 8 hour drive from Nashville! New Orleans is such a fun city to explore for a couple of add on days at the beginning or end of your cruise!

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort boasts a wide variety of accommodations, from rooms to suites, even home-like options in bungalows!
Our family stayed in a Theme Park View-Club level room, which have recently been renovated! This room can sleep up to 5, offering 2 queen beds & 1 day bed option.
Amenities included a beverage cooler, tea/coffee station, balcony and personalized Guest Services.
Staying at Club Level also allowed us access to the newly renovated King Kamehameha Club.

After disembarkment (fancy cruise word for getting off the ship), we were transported to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for the WDW portion of our fall break.
Celebrating the spirit of the South Pacific, this newly renovated deluxe category resort has been a favorite destination for travelers since 1971.
I’ll feature more about our stay here this week! Stay tuned.

Our family stayed in a Deluxe Family Oceanview stateroom with Verandah while on board the Disney Wish.
Disney really makes the most out of every square inch of space in this stateroom: hidden storage, a split bathroom concept, a fold down bunk & convertible sofa (which can be separated with a large privacy curtain from the queen sized bed) making this a great option for families!

You guys- when it comes to cruise cuisine, Disney does it right!
During our fall break trip on Disney’s Wish, we experienced their three rotational dining restaurants, a buffet style restaurant, and a food court with five different outlets, a dessert store, AND unlimited soft serve ice cream.
All of these dining options are included in the cruise fare, with the exception of two adult only specialty restaurants.
I found the amazing selection to be one of the many highlights we experienced as a family on board the Disney Wish.

Over fall break, my crew took an amazing trip from Port Canaveral on Disney Cruise Lines newest ship, the Wish. Perfect as a stand alone trip, or to tag on at the beginning or end of a Walt Disney World park trip like we did! Stay tuned over the next few weeks as I share more details about our trip.

Food is a major part of the Mexican travel experience. Be sure to check out these traditional dishes on your next trip to the Yucatan Peninsula!

Let’s be honest. Disney knocks it out of the park when it comes to desserts. I mean, they have entire parties dedicated to desserts only! But- it’s the churro for me.
