This summer flew by! ☀️ My posting was slow this summer as I enjoyed every minute with my family☀️

👙We spent over 20 days total throughout the summer at the Outer Banks. Some of these days were extended stays and some were day trips. We are lucky to live just an hour away from our favorite place 🌊

This year we decided we wanted to start driving out on the beach rather than using a public access. What a game changer 👏🏼

A few things we learned/discovered to make these trips a breeze 😎 are below:

🏊‍♂️ We bought a small blow up pool for the kids to play in/rinse toys off
💦 My husband found a collapsible water tank with a sprayer on Amazon and this was so convenient. When you aren’t using it, it folds up small and can be easily stored.
🪣 We have always had tons of beach toys but this year decided to put them all in a plastic storage bin to transport them. This made it super easy when it came time to wash them off at the end of the day or trip. Make sure you let everything dry out!
💨 We have always kept a small air compressor in our vehicles but this is very useful when refilling your tires after driving on the beach or blowing up toys and the pool!
⛺️We have a CoolCabana and love it. It’s easy to put up and take down. It’s good to have that shade on super hot days for the adults and kids. Makes a good place for kids to nap as well!
🕶️ Don’t forget the sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats!
