Sea Stars, commonly known as Starfish, are not fish at all! It’s an echinoderm which is the same family as Sea Urchins and the Sand Dollar!! Yep!

There are around 2000 species and not all of them have 5 arms. And if they happen to lose one of those arms, it will just regenerate another! Fascinating!

They’re often found in shallow water. Everyone needs to understand not to remove a Sea Star/Statfish from the sea. It will suffocate in the air and they do release a painful sting.

Let the Star Fish live to its life expectancy of 35 years!

You commonly see Sea Stars washed up on the beach in such as this one that I came across on my morning walk! 🦀

The main floor full bathroom got a makeover as well! The yellow was fine, but wanted something a little more subdued and cleaner looking so we went lighter. Lighter brightened it up quite a bit, too! New mirror and accessories were also added!

The Crabby Paddy is a precious 2/2 townhouse. It is an end unit and a really quick walk to the beach. And it’s a quick walk to the pools as well! One pool and just down from our unit, so that’s easy peasy!

When we bought The Crabby Paddy in 2022, we were getting ready to move from Texas to Chicago area. We wanted a place to escape the Midwest winter if only for a couple weeks for some warmth and sunshine ☀️

We found this hidden gem in Port St Joe, FL on Cape San Blas! We fell in love with this small beach town instantly!

It had good bones and just needed a little paint and a fresh look!
