After spending most of my life camping in a tent, I got tired of setting up and breaking down my campsite and week long camping trips. The wild idea of converting a cargo van into a camper / utility van was born in March of 2014. That spring my future father in-law and I designed and created the first van, Big Yellow aka Big Bird aka GUMS. After 2 years, 12,000 miles, trips to Crater Lake NP, Olym

pic NP, all over Oregon and Washington I decided to take a risk with the help of some friends and build unique camper vans specific for their owners desires fulfilling their camping fantasies....ie Vantasy.
