I’ve personally shifted a lot of my travel to United in the past 18 months, and even before seeing this article, I was saying, “It seems like they fly to all the places I need to go.” Alaska can’t sell me a ticket to dozens of destinations I can reach on UA. Delta is my other preferred airline but they are generally way overpriced out of PDX. Having flown Lufthansa's First Class product on the 747-800 in the summer of 2023, I am very much looking forward to trying this new product. The 747 experience was fantastic, and this appears to be even a step beyond. I believe Lufthansa may be the only European carrier competing with the ME3 or Asian carriers for the hard product.

Would you like to try this seat? Where should we go?!?

Lufthansa is having production delays with its new Allegris first class, and it's now expected to be introduced as of the fall of 2024.
