🎉❄️ Saranac Lake Ice Palace Update! ❄️🎉

It’s a frosty 4° this morning in the Adirondacks, which means PERFECT conditions to keep building the massive Ice Palace for the 2025 Saranac Lake Winter Carnival! 🏰✨

They’re SO close to breaking the record of 4,000 ice blocks used to create this masterpiece. 🧊 Each block, harvested from the icy bay of Lake Flower, measures 4 feet long, 2 feet wide, and 10 inches thick—and this year’s ice is some of the clearest they’ve seen in years! 💎

🎶 The theme this year is Music Legends, and the team of dozens of dedicated volunteers is working in harmony to finish in time for opening night this Friday. 🎸🎤

The Saranac Lake Winter Carnival runs from January 31st to February 9th and is one of the oldest winter celebrations in North America. Don’t miss it! ❄️⛷️
