Such a blessing to be able to share about the holy month of Ramadan with the students and faculty at St George’s Episcopal boarding school during their morning chapel service. I have been happy to be invited back to this school to discuss different interfaith topics over the last decade. How nice it was to speak through plexiglass instead of a computer screen!

The conversation around trauma has become ever-so-popular in the past year. To be honest, it's both beautiful and exhausting because it's confronting and it requires a lot out of us to actually make room in our lives to deal with it.

That said, as long as it stays hidden in the closet and goes unaddressed, it will continue to sabotage our ability to pursue our dreams, ask for what we want or need, lead our communities / teams, and build our businesses.

Hence, it's the only way forward if we want to build a brighter future and have more peace of mind, clarity, enjoyment, and ease. And I don't know about you, but I'm definitely ready for that.

In this episode of the Life Maximizer Academy, I had the pleasure of speaking with Kate Pintor, Cheryl Leong, Wendy Manchester Ibrahim, and Jim Niswonger, where we shared our different perspectives about how unresolved trauma can negatively impact our vision for the future, business growth (ex. sales and marketing), and contribution as leaders within our communities.

In the wake of January 6th, I feel compelled to have a focused discussion with a small group of individuals who are actively practicing DEI values/Allyship and who identify as white.
In this 1-hour discussion, we will focus on "white supremacy, white privilege, and white identity." Again, it is for people who have done a fair amount of work to acknowledge their privilege and are committed to allyship.
I realize this is short notice, but I would love to have these sessions this week to capture the emotions and the power of the moment. If you are not familiar with me, I assure you that my work is solution and unity focused. I will be the only non-white person present on the call, and it will be a safe atmosphere for you to share freely and without judgment. This will be an intentional time of learning and growing together. It will not be recorded
