We offer the finest light tackle and fly fishing trips on the fertile waters of Charlotte Harbor and Boca Grande Pass. For nearly eight months each year, our guides dedicate themselves to consistently offering a quality angling experience targeting the highly sought after tarpon. Also referred to as the sil

ver king, the tarpon is perhaps the most coveted saltwater game fish. At Beyond Borders Outfitters, our guides take great pride in offering any level of angler the best opportunity to catch a tarpon. It is not uncommon for even a novice angler to hook multiple tarpon, with some anglers having hooked over twenty tarpon in a single day. We also target snook, redfish, trout, and sharks year round, while fishing for permit, cobia, and pompano seasonally.

To all those who enjoy the thrill of Tarpon Fishing each year in Boca Grande Pass…. Remember, (1). It’s a privilege to have these magnificent sport fish come visit our back yard every year. (2). They live over 80 Years, most fish hooked in Boca Pass are 30-60 yrs old. (3). Tarpon are the single most Historically & Monetarily valuable Sport fish in the state of FL.
This is why we should all do all we can to help them fight again another day! In the last two evenings, we have leader every fish we’ve hooked in 10 minutes or less. As soon as the leader touches the tip of the rod, we break the fish off. This gives each Tarpon a much higher chance of survival after release. Let’s all do our part to help more of these incredible fish survive the challenging gauntlet they run every year when they visit Boca Grande!👊🙌👍👍🇺🇸
