Brooks County Skillet Festival

Good morning!! Transformations have been taking place all week at the Brooks County Court House and we are so excited to welcome all of the vendors as they begin set up today.

Please take note of the schedule posted below and make plans to attend.

The festival will begin tomorrow at 9am. Parents, be sure to get your kids frogs ready - the annual Frog Hop will be the first activity of the morning, kicking off at 9:30am. There will be cash prizes for the winners, so be sure to grab your frogs and get ready to hop.

We have grown in vendor size this year, and we are very excited to welcome everyone to our community. We look forward to seeing you all this weekend for the 11th Annual Brooks County Skillet Festival.

GET READY!! October 15th at Brooks County Skillet Festival we will be hosting the Annual Frog Hop. Last years event was a huge success. Our longest jump in 2021 was 4.2". How far will this years winner hop?

The 10th annual Skillet Festival was a fun filled day! The weather was great, the food was delicious, the music was good, the crowds were awesome and there were some huge frogs!

Thank you to everyone who came out to spend their day in downtown Quitman. This is the first festival we’ve been able to have since 2018, and we are proud to be back.

Skillet Festival is just around the corner, and everyone loves a good t-shirt!!!

Please use the online link to order your shirts. Orders are due by Sunday, September 26th.

If you or your organization is interested in placing an order for shirts and prefers to do a paper order, please make sure to email the order to [email protected] by Friday, September 24th.

The 2021 Brooks County Skillet Festival Committee is pleased to announce that plans are well underway for this years festival. Applications are still being accepted, however spots are filling up FAST! All applications must be received by September 6, 2021 to avoid late fees. To request an application, please e-mail us at [email protected], or request one by mail by calling at 229-263-4841.
