Wrapped up painting the Creature From The Black Lagoon bust designed by Wicked tonight! I love this piece and all the details the went into it! The Creature bust is about one foot tall on base. 3d resin printed on Anycubic Photon Mono X with Anycubic standard grey resin. Painted with craft acrylics and chalk pastels.

I finished printing all the parts to the Creature From The Black Lagoon bust designed by Wicked. Incredibly excited to start working up a convincing natural and organic fish color pallette for this piece!

Made a little more progress on printing this large bust of The Creature From The Black Lagoon designed by Wicked! Just have the shoulders and base left to print and I will begin painting. In the meantime I am putting together as much photo reference of every paint up done of the Creature that I can find to help me on my own color choices.

I dug these two old plaster busts out of the garage last week. Bought them as a character two pack from Joanne Fabrics of all places way back in 2004. They both had sime damage and chips in them from being banged around all this time, and plaster doesnt travel well over the years...so I reculpted the chipped bits and gave them both a nice fast fresh paint up...enjoy!

I am a massive fan of the classic Universal Monsters and I am super excited to begin making the Creature From The Black Lagoon bust designed by Wicked ! I hope if I can ever save some extra money and buy a large formate filament printer I can do this 1:1 scale, but for now I am happy with this sizable bust! Now to print the shoulders and base next.

Still have quite a bit of work left on all the details on Doc Ock's arms but I hope to have that all finished by the weekend. For two very cheap plaster busts from Joanne's Fabrics waaaaaay back in 2004, these will end up making nice pieces to display!

Last night while cleaning out some old boxes I ran across this old plaster cast Spider-Man 2 bust that bought at a craft store about the time the film came out. Clearly back then I lacked any paint skill or brush discipline, so I dusted it off and decided to give it a super fast repaint just to see what I could do with it now years later. I still have to finish all the weblines, dull it down with a matte sealer and add some shading, but I think it's a pretty dramatic improvement. There is a Doc Oc companion piece to this I may have to also give a fresh repaint to when this one is done!

I wanted to do something fitting for the October Halloween vibe so what better subject than the Mistress of the Dark herself Elvira! I still have to paint the base and do some very subtle highlights so the blacks aren't so flat, but I hope to have her complete by Sunday at the latest.

B3dserk Studios Lynda Carter Wonder Woman bust

A little 360 video of the B3dserk Studios Lynda Carter Wonder Woman bust commission I completed for a client today.

I have been holding off until now showing progress images of the Taylor Swift statue. I wanted to be sure I could do all the glitter effects properly and I feel pretty happy with how it is turning out overall. Her head, arms and hair are on the printer tonight and I hope to have her completed by the end of the weekend.
