The annual VMSC Dyno Day is set for 2/29 at 9:00 at FlimFlamSpeed (Kevin FlimFlam Adolf). Details to follow. We need name, car, and relevant engine mods. Kevin can’t take AWD.

Just wanted to thank everyone who made this weekend possible. Set up Friday afternoon with Gunny, Jeff, Justin and Engelbert. Gunny for Being an OD with me Saturday and Engelbert who was safety steward.
Gunny and Christopher Salzman for being ODs Sunday and Sam banks for safety steward. Justin for helping with everything, Joe banks who always sets up timing and Mindy Inskeep for faithfully handling registration. Nice job everyone ❤️

OK FOLKS. After seeing that RIR was bought things are starting to make more sense. The reason we had to cancel the autocross is for the following:

1) their insurance requirements went from
$1M to $5M general liability
2) added accidental death above liability

So we went from $390 insurance PER WEEKEND to $1800 PER DAY. You do the math plus rental of property.

We have a board meeting May 30th to discuss options and how much people are willing to
Pay to run at RIR and it’s pavement options.

WE HAVE JULY 28 at VMP already so stay tuned.

If you know of somewhere in Richmond with a big lot let us know. We have looked for years.

So there you go, no more speculating.

VMSC must cancel this weekends 2 day event due to increased insurance requirements by the owners of Richmond International Raceway.
VMP dates are unaffected and we will revisit our options concerning RIR for June and remainder of year.
We appologize, will miss seeing everyone and refunds will be issued promptly.

VMSC’s annual Dyno Day is back on schedule this year. We are set for February 9 at FlimFlamSpeed, 2121 N. Hamilton Street - Suite E, Richmond, Va 23230. We will start at 10:00 and go until we are finished.

Reg price - $75
1-5 cars $65
6-10 cars $60
11+ cars $55

If a car is strapped down and has any sort of mechanical issue that keeps it form performing all 3 of its runs, the price remains the same.

Order will be first come, first served, unless you make other arrangements with Kevin.

Pleas post here if you are coming. To help Kevin, I also need to know what you will strapping on the dyno along with any relevant mods, e.g., added a turbo or supercharger.

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who donated to the "Chelsea" fund last Sunday the 17th.
We raised $700.00 which was amazing. You all are awesome!

However, the club decided we could afford to round it up to
$3000.00 and we deposited that into her account today.

Her dad, Scott Hoffman has been a part of the VMSC family for over 15 years and he always helped others in the club whenever the need arose. Family helps family, right? ❣️

Chelsea, honey, we wish you the best and you'll be in Germany getting the help you need before you know it.
