Some new updates regarding Genie+ and Lightning Lanes starting July 24, including choosing ride selections in advance! Resort guests will be able to purchase and make selections 7 days in advance for their length of stay and all other guests will be able to make choices 3 days in advance.

This summer, changes are coming to the Disney Genie+ service and individual Lightning Lane entry, including new ways to plan ahead.

Exciting news! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be returning this year on select nights in November and December at Magic Kingdom. Tickets will go on sale to Disney resort guests July 2nd and for all other guests July 10th. Also returning is Disney Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios and the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. Let’s get to planning those holiday trips!

Happy Summer Solstice! If you’re traveling to Florida this summer, you may need these to keep cool! Here are some of our favorite tips to beat the heat:
-If staying on property, take advantage of early park entry then head back to your resort for a midday break of swimming or naps during the hottest part of the day.
-Ice water cups are complimentary at all quick service locations. Be sure to stay hydrated!
-Book your sit down meals for a lunch time frame. This gives you a cool place to relax and eat in the middle of the day.
-Seek out and use all the splash areas available in the parks! If the kids don’t enjoy being wet, pack a spare bathing suit in your park bag, or we love dressing the boys in hybrid shorts that dry quickly.
-Pack ALL the fans and spray bottles. When you think you’ve packed enough, pack more!
-Enjoy all the shops while walking through the parks for a quick AC break.
-Don’t miss all the indoor shows and attractions!

Universal offers two theme parks, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, an amazing waterpark, Volcano Bay, and their newest theme park, Epic Universe, is expected to open sometime in 2025!

Tickets will go on sale to those staying at select Disney World Resort hotels May 8th, and for all other guests May 15th. Go see an inside show, grab your favorite snack and drink, do some shopping, or dance around in the puddles without a care in the world! The pop up shower will be over before you know, and it might even cool it off a little bit 😉
