Here is a newly constructed home the Houston Bros insulated with open cell spray foam this week in Daleville Virginia. The house was noticeably quieter and the high winds that were blowing outside were not even noticeable after the installation. Once complete, this home will be on average 60% more efficient than it would be had it been insulated with traditional methods.

This week the Houston Bros are spraying closed cell foam in the walk in coolers in a new brewery in Boones Mill Virginia. This is the same insulation that you will find inside of your refrigerator at home. Here we are planing the foam so that paneling can be installed.

This week the Houston Bros are spraying open cell foam in a house in Rocky Mount Virginia. Excess foam must be trimmed back to the studs to allow sheet rock to be installed. Here Tom Houston is demonstrating the electric foam planer. This tool works very quickly to remove the unwanted foam.

This week the Houston Bros are spraying open cell foam in a new garage in Floyd Virginia. Here you can see spray tech Matt installing an average of four inches of open cell foam into the exterior walls of the garage. The garage will be climate controlled through a HVAC system. Once installed this garage will be easier and cheaper to heat and cool thanks to the high r-value and air seal created by the polyurethane foam.

This week Houston Bros is spraying open cell foam in an attic in a new home in Fincastle Virginia. The home owner is going to finish the atttic with sheet rock. Here is Dan Houston shaving excess foam overhead with our specialized foam cutter to allow easy sheet rock installation on the ceiling.

Houston Bros Spray Foam Insulation

Houston Bros. is a family business based in Ferrum Virginia and we service the Roanoke Valley, Smith Mountain Lake and Rocky Mount areas. We install closed cell and open cell spray polyurethane foam insulation for new and existing homes as well as in metal buildings. We can also perform commercial roof repairs and coatings as well as air barriers. Our newest service we offer is foam lifting where foam is injected under a sunken concrete slab or side walk and is raised back into position permanently.

Owner and operator, Daniel Houston, has been working with spray polyurethane foam and plural components since 2000. He and his brothers Tom and Matt Houston have been installing spray foam insulation since 2011. Together they will see to it that your home or business gets the proper product for your needs and that it is installed properly.
