One week from today I'll be heading out on my final trip of 2024!

🛩️This year I have visited 7 countries, sailed on 2 cruise ships, had fun at Walt Disney World 4 x (next week will be 5) and next week I'll be hanging at Universal Orlando.

This organization is very dear to my heart as I adopted both of my pups from them. Coco came to us at 6 weeks old and is now 13! Bolt was about 6 months old when we adopted him and is now 9.5 years old!

Let’s talk travel insurance and rental cars.

While driving in Northern Ireland I overcompensated for a car coming on the other side of the road and my mirror hit a stone wall. I was thankful I had purchased the Collision Damage Waiver with Avis. I paid nothing out of pocket for the damage.

But here’s what I learned if I hadn’t taken the waiver.

My travel insurance did not cover the car rental. This was an extra I needed to add to my policy.

My credit card has car rental damage coverage, except in 4 countries. Guess what one of those countries is? Northern Ireland.

Moral of the story, if you plan on renting a car in a foreign country don’t assume your travel insurance or credit card travel insurance will cover any damage! And let your travel agent know if she didn’t book the car for you so she can advise on coverage!

I love to travel and read about travel and watch tv shows about travel, scrapbook about travel, you get the idea! Travel is my passion! Whether it be a cruise to the Caribbean, a road trip up North or a family vacation to Disney, I love it all! And I love helping others plan their perfect family get-away!

I have been an Independent Travel Consultant with Magical Moments Vacations since 2013 and a travel agent since 2010. Working for Magical Moments Vacations has been my dream come true! The one on one free services I can provide my clients is what makes working as an independent so fulfilling! Nothing is better than sending a client on a much anticipated family vacation and upon their return, hearing what an amazing time they had!

You can’t beat experience! I feel very strongly that to be good at my job I must experience the destinations! I travel throughout the year either on family vacations or training FAMs (familiarity trips) so I can better serve you. Most recently I have traveled to Disney World in Florida, Disneyland in California and Universal Orlando.
