Last day at Washington D.C. was hot! If you decide to walk around Arlington Cemetery in nearly 100 degree weather, I HIGHLY recommend bringing a water bottle (or two!) But regardless, it was amazing to pay our respects at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and see the Arlington House!

Unfortunately, due to an error with travel documentation, we were unable to take our Alaskan cruise.. however, we decided to make the most of it and travel somewhere else for a few days so we are still able to have a vacation! Stay tuned!

In addition to being able to experience jaw-dropping scenery (and hopefully witness the thunder of a glacier calving into the ocean), I will be able to see seals swimming freely in the water or a whale spouting air at the water's surface in an Alaskan cruise I will be taking in just 2 days!
