We sat on the runway during a thunderstorm for about 20 minutes the other day. By the time we took off the cloud cover was pretty heavy and I didn't think I'd get to see much but then... there it was.... ESPN Wide World of Sports and then the All Star Resorts complex. No idea what altitude we were at but it's pretty cool.

We had fun spotting some of the wrapped Disney park buses. Of course the Endgame bus was running from All Star Sports to Magic Kingdom while we were waiting on Magical Express to pick us up.

On June 6th, my 13 year old and I went to the first Villains After Hours event. This is a separate ticket event being held on select nights in Magic Kingdom now through August 8th. Tickets are $139 + tax and include unlimited Coke products, popcorn, Mickey ice cream treats, and frozen fruit bars. There is a special stage show that runs three times each night, Maleficent's streampunk dragon form walks the park, and a DJ spins tunes for a street party in the castle hub. Pirates of the Caribbean has some new live crew mates and I'll leave Space Mountain a surprise! The event runs for three hours after the park closes to day guests but your ticket allows entry into Magic Kingdom at 7:00pm. You can actually set up 3 Fastpasses to start your night off quickly if you're not visiting another park that day. We had 6:40 Mickey and Minnie meet, 7:40 Jungle Cruise, and 8:40 Big Thunder Mountain. Throughout the night we grabbed a ton of drinks, the kid grabbed a snack at every cart we passed, we rode almost everything, saw the stage show, and watched Maleficent walk twice. Tickets for each event are limited. Ours was sold out but the number of attendees was very limited. I've been to sold out Halloween parties that had more people so this is worth every penny. If you're thinking of doing this, get with me ASAP to pick your date and purchase your tickets. We'll get them linked into your account, set up some Fastpasses, and set up a plan to maximize your time in the park. [email protected]

Preview of "Epcot Forever" Coming to Walt Disney World Resort

After a dazzling 20-year run, we will bid a fond farewell to “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” at Epcot® on Sept. 30, 2019. Debuting Oct. 1, 2019, “Epcot Forever” will be an all-new, limited-time spectacle of fireworks, music, lighting, lasers and choreographed, special effects kites. The show will take us on a journey through the past, present and future of Epcot. Featuring a stirring collection of songs that paint a colorful picture of the park, this nighttime extravaganza will offer both a trip down memory lane and a look towards the future and all the magical possibilities still to come.

Disney Parks Live Entertainment is busy getting “Epcot Forever” ready for its opening day. Show Director Alan Bruun recently shared some details about the concept behind the show and the team’s collaboration with noted conductor and composer Don Harper, who is producing new arrangements of classic Epcot tunes to weave into the soundtrack of “Epcot Forever.”
