Man, I am DEFINITELY feeling the blues from our last trip to #disney. But the great thing is, we are already thinking about our next trip! By having an idea and planning ahead, we can take advantage of new promotions, events and discounts.
Want to stay in the loop with all the Disney goodness? Make sure you ask your local travel advisor (me!) when you are thinking about your next trip to visit the mouse!
Keep your mind open to adventure! #FamilyTravel
Planning trips with the fam CAN be a lot to think about. But don't go it alone! I am here to help coordinate logistics like where to fly from, recommend awesome stays, and get you the best bang for your buck.
Using a travel agent sounds like it complicates things, but that is exactly what we look remove from your next trip!
Moments make memories, and I want to fill up my memory book with as many as possible.

So many people ask us about how our kids "go with the flow". For us, it all starts at home! How can we say "YES" to more things and let our kids adapt in everyday life, especially when something unexpected or disappointing may happen (like a rainy day when they wanted to ride their bikes). To me, this is highlighted especially when we are out and about on our travel adventures.
Some things to think about when saying "YES" to your kids!
1. Are they in a safe environment?
2. Is the activity developmentally appropriate?
3. Is it sparkling creativity or problem solving?
If these are YES, we empower our kids to go explore.
Doesn't it only take a little nudge to want to adventure???
I can't tell you how many friends, family, acquaintances that I talk to that say "I'm gonna wait until my kids are older before we go anywhere so they can remember the experience". Some even told me they'll wait until their youngest kid is at least 10 years old! I'm here to tell you that your kids DO remember.
One of our favorite things (and with technology these days it makes it so easy!) is to look at old pictures. But do our kids say remember that specific thing we did? No, they say "aw man that was so much fun!".
Get out there, choose adventure, you can do it!
How many times in life do we say "agh, I'll just do it myself" (I'm guilty of it too!). I can fix that door knob, or I can trim that tree, and paint the whole whole, easy peasy! It's so simple to understand what to do, but in so many cases it's not so easy to do. Planning an amazing family vacation can definitely feel this way too! That's why folks like myself exist as travel advisors.
Don't let your time and money be wasted, ask an expert for help before traveling!
What is happiness? Always the million dollar philosophical question of life. A good PSA to take a second of our lives to sit, reflect, be present and grateful for the TRUE things that matter.
My big 3:
#family
#nature and being outside
#travel to amazing new places
How do you think about where to go for your next travel trip? It's SO easy to get carried away with some crazy ideas when we are day dreaming of that next family adventure. Well although not super scientific, we always ask ourselves 2 questions.
1) Do we want to go somewhere warm or otherwise?
2) Do we want something adventurous or relaxing?
Answering these really helps us hone in on what type of trip we want. So that can change from exploring BANFF to a river boat cruise to an all inclusive resort down in Cancun.
Whatever the travel is, we are always grateful to be thinking of where to build more memories and experiences with our family!

COLLECTABLES! Honestly I've always been a card collector, but this one's got me feeling super special. This was our very first pack we cracked last year, had to get it rated and sealed to protect it's integrity from our kids 😂.

Unpopular opinion: #epcot Light how is the best nighttime entertainment at #disney. Luminous: Symphony of Us is just an awesome show and here are some tips that helped our family get the most out of it.
1) if you have a stroller, park it near the railing, that way you have "reserved" a spot for yourself when the show starts.
2) bring some headphones for any little ones, it can be a bit loud
3)be sure to grab some snacks (ours was more popcorn!) so you can sit back and enjoy

Traveling with your little ones can be hard! With all of the snacks, logistics, car seats and strollers to pack, and not to mention the potential tantrums that can happen, it can feel daunting to want to take your kids on a family trip. But I'm here to tell you that it is ABSOLUTELY worth it! Here were some tips that always helped my wife and I while we were traveling with our family of 5.
1. Share with them what will happen - It sounds a little funny, but explain to them step by step the process of traveling. "First we'll have to grab our stuff, then wait in line to send our bags away, then get scanned in security, etc". For our kids, this gives them all the expectations of the entire day of travel which means they don't get as frustrated by not understanding why they have to do something (like wait!).
2. Pack a special snack or activity - what's more exciting than getting a special sucker at take off? Our kiddos can't wait to hit the road and be able to make their choice of a movie or treat (suckers are a big hit for flights). Their excitement helps them focus on the fun.
3. Have a motor activity - We all know we often times do a lot of waiting for our travels. Having some type of activity planned like a Danny Go video or even headphones to reduce stimulation while you wait can be helpful. Kids need different levels of stimulation, so choose something best suited for your little one to help them regular for those wait times.
Man, those wait times can add up! Why spend all that money to wait in line... But wait! With your trusted travel agent, they can help you maximize your experience and minimize the amount of wait times with our expertise.

Swirls on the Water is an awesome spot for those AMAZING Dole Whips (I mean, you can't have enough of these things right??!!). We got the cute Rapunzel and Ariel themed float and cone. Very cute to look at, but better suited in your tummy!
Anybody else have a sweet tooth?
Haven't done a family vacation yet? Don't worry, you don't have to go it alone! I'm here to help you plan your next trip to help you avoid any strife from your mates and pirate invasions 😁. DM me to find out how!
The amount of convincing I need to go to #disney
But for real though, family trips don't have to be a once and a lifetime thing. And a neat thing about that is I'm here to help you make it happen! DM me if you are wanting to make more family memories.
How do you maximize some travel savings? Here were a few things we did to set ourselves up for a FREE resort stay:
1) Researched a great credit card sign up bonus
2) Use our Marriott Bonvoy card on regular spending (be sure to pay it off in full each month!)
3) Research on point sites (For us we looked on Chase Travel and Marriott) to find the best point to dollar redemption rates
Finding the best travel savings can seem intimidating, but if you ever need help planning your next family trip (and getting the best bang for your buck and stress free itinerary) DM me to see how!
Sometimes staying off property at Disney has its perks, especially if you stay where we did at Marriott's Cypress Harbour Villas in Orlando. We wanted something larger since we had some extra adults and already needed a rental car for other various non-Disney related visits we had planned.
This resort was not only high-class, but also extremely family friendly, with so many pools outdoor spaces to play AND an great activity center and activities PLANNED by the resort like keychain making, ice cream socials, and nighttime s'mores making. This was truly a great place to stay for the 9 days we were down in Orlando!

Some people don't believe in the magic, but when you get to #Disney , there is no denying the feeling.
