Over 1,000 miles of sailing offshore and we are back home to Maine! It feels great to be back. We are so grateful for our friends Dave and Arwen who made the trip up with us, helping with shifts, cooking, and watching Ri-guy. 😊

Three fast days and we made it to Beaufort, NC! We caught a few mahi along the way and had great weather. After a day onshore to reprovision, we are off again today to make our way to the Cape Cod Canal. Homeward bound!

The last few days have been a really, really rough ride from Key West. There was just not a good weather window for us to leave for a long time so we decided to spend a few uncomfortable days at sea to get to our happy place. And here we are! We still had a pretty rough day today, but we were able to catch some mahi! I’d send you the videos of us bashing into waves or a photo of puke on a shirt, but I’m pretty sure you’d prefer to see these photos instead. 😉 We caught two mahi today and attempted our first fish print of the smaller one.
