I'm in love! We are here at the Seacrest Oceanfront Hotel in Pismo Beach and I have found my new home away from home! This hidden gem is right on the ocean with spectacular views and direct beach access. The room is cute and so comfortable! This is where we are having our Beaches Quilt Retreat in February. Reserve your space now, it is sure to sell out!! #ilivetravel

I just took a fantastic walking tour of Edam (of the famous cheese!) What a beautiful city! Yes, it is a city, not a town. In the Netherlands, ciyship has nothing to do with size or population. It is a right conferred by the king!
Beautiful Volendam! I enjoyed a lovely lunch and a stroll through this fun harborside town!
Nothing like cheese straight from the cow! After getting to know some of the cows, I got to taste some amazing cheeses made right onsite. Delicious!
Exploring the Dutch countryside today. First stop, the beautiful village of Marken. Did you know? Marked, like much of the Netherlands is below sea level. It was flooded many years ago, so they built a dam to cut off the sea inlet and created a lake!
Happy International Women's Day!
Celebrating women everywhere with a little love for one of the best women I know - my sister! The world is open to great women - explore it today!
Last day of our Yellowstone Road Trip! Today we drove from Twin Falls, Idaho to Elko, Nevada. We started the day seeing a mountain goat! Or at least a goat on a mountain, haha! We stopped at Shoshone Falls, and even though they weren't at full flow, it was still beautiful! While we were there, we checked out Dierkes Lake. Then we drove out to the City of Rocks National Preserve. Lol, I learned the difference between a National Park and a National Preserve. It was 10 miles of dirt road just to get to the entrance! No rangers, no bathrooms, no visitor center. But some incredible rock formations! Then we drove through the farmlands of Idaho playing tag with a thunderstorm! Definitely a beautiful drive! Tomorrow, home! It's been a fantastic trip and I hope you enjoyed it too!
Day 11 of our Yellowstone Road Trip and we have left Yellowstone! We had an awe inspiring drive across Idaho. We stopped at the Craters of the Moon National Park and took some amazing hikes through its weird and wonderful landscape. It was so beautiful and desolate. We ended up in Twin Falls at the Fairfield Inn, and enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Elevation 486! Stunning views of the Snake River Canyon and delicious food!
Day 10 of our Yellowstone Road Trip. It was our last day in Yellowstone and we had such a great time! We explored the West Thumb Geyser Basin and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Ahmaaazing! We topped off the day with a delicious dinner at BearTooth BBQ in West Yellowstone, some shopping, and a dip in the Clubhouse Inn pool!
Who knew that Buffalo snorted, grunted, and growled? Loving the wildlife at Yellowstone! #iLiveTravel
Day 9 of our Yellowstone Road Trip, part two! We spent the afternoon at Mammoth Hot Springs and saw elk right on the lawn! One was even laying down to eat! Then we drove to Lamar Valley where we had herds of Buffalo walking on the road right next to our car! Then an incredible sunset drive through Yellowstone with incredible views. Sigh, we are very tired, but so happy!
Day 9 of our Yellowstone Road Trip! First stop, Norris Basin to see some amazing geysers and thermal features. Breathtaking!
Day 8 of our Yellowstone Road Trip! I had to share the incredible drive from the Grand Teton to West Yellowstone. This is some of the most incredible scenery I've ever seen. Definitely a must-do! We saw a lot of Bison right near the road! West Yellowstone is a beautiful little town, and we are cozied up in our room at the Clubhouse Inn.
Day 8 of our Yellowstone Road Trip and we are finally in Yellowstone! It's worth the wait! Old Faithful Geyser was simply spectacular! There was a Bison walking right through the area when the geyser erupted, but I was too busy videoing the eruption to see it. We did see it later as we walked around the geyser basin!
